Popular Afrobit Singer, Rema has donated the sum of 105 million Naira to support his Local Church, Christ Embassy in Benin as part of appreciation for what they did to his family
Before the donation, he said:
“I stand before you today, grateful for the opportunity to give back to this community that has given me so much”
He continued “Losing my father at just 8 years old was devastating, and it seemed like everything was taken away from us. But in our darkest hour, this church and its pastor came to our aid. They opened a small store for my mother, providing her with a means to support our family. Through that store, she was able to sponsor our education and well-being”
“Today , I’m humbled to be in a position to show my gratitude. I’m donating 105 million to this church, with the hope that it will help other widows and families in need, just as they helped mine. I believe that this act of kindness will create a ripple effect of generosity and compassion, inspiring others to pay it forward”
Recall that Rema has been in Benin the Capital to Edo State for his homecoming visitation.
