Nigerians are expressing frustration and disappointment over widespread disruptions to MTN’s network services, sparking concerns about the telecom giant’s reliability.
This is not the first time MTN has faced network issues, in the recent EndBadGovernance protest the company service was poor for almost a week.
The current service, which has affected millions of subscribers across the country, has prompted many to take to social media to vent their frustrations.
“MTN, what’s going on? Does it mean that whenever there’s a protest in Nigeria, your network will start having problems?” tweeted @AbujaCommunity.
Others reported similar issues in Port Harcourt, with @johnonnora85 saying, “MTN has been miserable in Port Harcourt for weeks now. I’m wondering if it’s the new normal!”
