Nigerian hip-hop artist, David Adeleke popularly called Davido, sparked a lively conversation on social media after boasting about his wealth.
The singer, who is also known as “OBO” (Omo Baba Olowo, meaning “son of a rich man”), posted on X that his cash flow is endless, saying “The cash cannot finish” with laughing emojis.
However, his statement was met with playful jabs from fans, who asked him to put his money where his mouth is. One fan, @TwentyOne_OBI, suggested that Davido should do a giveaway for his followers, saying “Let’s do giveaway for the people. Drop something now. OBO family.”
Other fans joined in, with @it_Rutie urging Davido not to be stingy and @stfukhaleed jokingly asking for funds because his own money was running out.
It remains to be seen if Davido will respond to the calls for a giveaway, but one thing is certain – his fans are eager to benefit from his generosity!
