The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) House was invaded by armed security operatives yesterday, amidst suspicions that the Labour Union was involved in the recent EndBadGovernance protest.
Meanwhile, it could be recalled that the NLC has distanced themselves from the protest before it commenced.
The Union in an X post via its handle @NLCHeadquarters, noted that the operatives, both in uniform and plainclothes, stormed the 10th and 2nd floors of the building, causing chaos and destruction.
Also, NLC said the security men broke into the bookshop on the 2nd floor, ransacking the premises and confiscating books and materials, claiming that the materials were used to incite and organize the recent protests, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation.
