Nigerian music sensations Ayra Starr and Burna Boy have emerged as the top African artists with the most Spotify listeners, according to recent statistics released by a popular music firm.
Hypetribeng revealed this on its X handle @hypetribeng.
According to its publication Ayra Starr takes the top spot with an impressive 25.9 million listeners, closely followed by Burna Boy with 23.5 million listeners.
Also, South African artist Tyla ties with Burna Boy at 23.5 million listeners, while Rema and Tems, both from Nigeria, round out the top five with 23.2 million and 19.4 million listeners, respectively.
The top 10 list features a mix of Nigerian and African artists, including Omah Lay, Sofiya Nzau, Asake, Wizkid, and CKay.
