The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka Anite, has disclosed that the recent protests in the country resulted in a loss of N500 billion to the economy.
Speaking via her X handle, she said there is a need for stability and security to ensure economic growth and development, stressing the importance of creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
She also said goods worth about N52 billion were destroyed and 21 lives were lost.
